Ring of fire: PAOK fans do their best to intimidate rivals Olympiakos

And it worked.

AFTER LOSING THE first leg of their Greek Cup semi-final with Olympiakos, PAOK fans were intent on pulling out all the stops in a bid to inspire their team when it came to the return leg.

The result was spectacular.

As the players lined up for pre-game handshakes, the stands disappeared into a cloud of smoke as flares went off all over the ground.

Behind the smoke, fans hurled hundreds of fish in the direction of the Olympiakos bench:

This, combined with the flares, resulted in a delay to the start of the game but the antics worked with PAOK winning 1-0 on the night and going through on away goals.
